On a day that started in search of Snowy Owls near Angus, Ontario, a friend called to share a sighting of a Barred Owl. After just a few moments of some great perch shots, something grabbed the owl's attention. Down in the ditch, out of my line of vision was a vole or mouse. Within a second, the successful hunt was over!
