Description
"Highway to Hail"
This photo was taken during a storm chase in the corner of Saskatchewan where I have spent my whole life. The storm was moving very quickly and had just dropped a tornado that hit a farmyard just minutes earlier (no one was home, no injuries occurred).
Each year I travel 10,000 miles in search of photographic storms but this year my favorite photos came from close to home. My mother joined me on this ‘backyard chase’ and saw her first tornado ever.
