Description
Walking on one of our local trails as the late afternoon sun began to set, I heard a distinct owl call. Pausing, to my surprise it had been coming from one of the big cedars from above. To my delight, the Great Horned few out and perched quickly on another tree, allowing me to capture it's profile as the sun set. It then flew down river to begin it's evening hunt.
