Description
While travelling through Elk Island National Park I noticed in the clearing on a beaver dam was a dark silhouette. At first I believed it to be a bald eagle but I was mistaken and as I approached I realised it to be a gorgeous juvenile female snowy owl! This is my first and only encounter with a wild snowy owl and to see it in the National Park that's more like a second home to me was extra special
