Description
I was thrilled to watch a flock of Mountain Bluebirds hovering over a grassy field. I was lucky to catch this frame as this bird turned towards me! Bluebirds, like many other types of thrushes, use this hovering technique to scan for insects before diving down to grab their next meal!
