What a Morning!!

Description

Not everyday you get a Merlin chase a Dove into your home. I had the door open for a while for our dog and saw a blur go by the window then a crash. I turned and saw a Merlin falcon turn hard and away from the door, but something was in the house. Found a Dove in the bathroom and caught it. Went onto our lawn to release it, where it flew and the Merlin must have been waiting for it. She flew down out of nowhere and grabbed the Dove so fast! All I saw was a cloud of feathers. Nature is wild! I was able to snap a photo after the commotion, but what a thing to witness!
