Description
Three beavers of the same colony line up to perform one of their many baths of the day. Beavers bathe often to keep their fur waterproof, which helps them keep warm while swimming when temperatures are cold. These three were found at Petrie Island on an early spring morning. There was a total of five beavers that came out that morning -- the other two were seen sleeping beside a tree where their fresh toothy work could be seen.
