Description
Dad’s on duty today while mom’s out hunting. This male fox was looking after his five kits at a barn in South Glengarry, Ontario, and he had his hands full. These kits were a bit older and one was even successful hunting its own meal — a squirrel. Fox kits will stay with their parents for the first 7 months while they hone in on their hunting skills. Until these little ones become fully independent in the fall, mom and dad will always be there to protect. Photo taken in South Glengarry, Ontario.
