Description
There is nothing unique or original about this photo, this is Lake Louise in Alberta, from precisely the same spot that everyone goes to take a picture of Lake Louise!
My daughter and I spent one week in Alberta last August, we arranged for a sunrise tour to Moraine Lake, followed by a visit to Lake Louise.
I didn't find it overly crowded, as we got there pretty early but the crowds did grow the longer we were there.
I'd have to say that with booking a tour, you get the convenience of a small shuttle bus that takes you right to the lakes, but what you gain in convenience, you lose in control.
We were on a strict timeline which meant you either spend a lot of time seeing a few things, or you rush like hell to see a lot of things.
We chose to spend more time enjoying a few things!
