Description
As I have been observing a roadside bird box, which a pair of Eastern Bluebirds have been nesting in. I have noticed over my last four visits, the absence of this female's partner. He was always present previously. Which leaves me thinking now, he has fallen prey to possibly a merlin, or hawk, or a passing vehicle. I certainly hope the extra burden of feeding alone, is not too much for her.
