Description
A juvenile cottontail rabbit was in the middle of chomping down on some grass when we crossed paths. This little juvenile was lucky to be alive as it was living and eating in an area of Ottawa known for its booming population of coyotes, Lalande Conservation Area. But that didn't seem to be a bother to the rabbit at the moment because the focus was on the grass.
