Description
I was hoping to find some Cuckoo Wasps, but was having no luck this time around. I walked around some more and saw a large caterpillar eating on a fireweed, so turned my attention to it. It was such an interesting looking creature. I'm usually pretty late to photograph the caterpillars, so I was very happy to have gone out when I did. This photo, on the other hand, shows a bit of a creepier side to this beautiful caterpillar.
