Description
While my husband was getting ready to tee off I decided to go check out the pond that was beside and quite a bit lower than the tee block. I scanned the block and was so excited to see this black crowned night heron. Afraid that the heron would take flight before I could ready my camera, I did manage to get a few shots in. This is my first sighting of this type of heron. Image taken on the back nine of the Deer Park Golf Course in Yorkton, Saskatchewan.
