Description
Dulse Dories circle while awaiting a winch to open up that will tow their heavy dulse-laden boat over the seawall at Dark Harbour, Grand Manan. It is estimated that up to 95% of the world's commercial dulse supply is harvested from the shores of this Fundy island. Dulse is a red macroalgae that is common to the rocky shores of the North Atlantic and North Pacific oceans.
