Last Friday was a new moon, and coincidentally, a beautifully clear night above New Brunswick. We took a ferry to Grand Manan island in the Bay of Fundy, where the basalt cliffs at Southwest Head provide a wonderful foreground for a Milky Way shot. This is one of my photos from there.
