Fly By

Description

My dad was up for a quick visit, he hasn't really been up my way for long enough to see some of the sights we have to offer. It's unfortunate that he couldn't make it up before the fire ripped through this area, but we still made the best of it. I showed him a few places, we drove around to all my favourite spots to visit, most destroyed by the fire, but some untouched. We drove to the chasm, which was always a favourite spot of mine, and that's when this Pileated Woodpecker flew out from the trees, in front of my car and into the trees on the other side of the road.
