Description
I was up in the Zincton area along Hwy 31A, in the West Kootenay area of BC, to check out the many beaver ponds along Seaton Creek when I caught motion in the chicory growing in the ditch. Two chipmunks were running up and down the chicory stalks, feeding on the seeds. Every so often a stalk would bend to the ground under their weight but they'd just move on to the next.
