On most mornings, this pair of Sandhill Cranes usually leaves the Mill Pond here in Hespeler, Ontario, long before there's sufficient light to get a decent frame. This morning, though, they returned not long after departure. I was just packing to leave when they returned, so it was a scramble to grab the gear and get a few frames off.
