Along Saskatchewan Hwy. # 19, south of Central Butte SK. is the forgotten community of Thunder Creek where all that remains today is this lonely elevator along side the ghost railroad. There was not a house or barn otherwise for several miles.

Thanks Jeanette. In the time I have been in Saskatchewan (1.5 yrs now) I am finding this province the most interesting and fascinating of all Canadian provinces.

There are still some of them around. Nice to see someone else taking an interest in rural Saskatchewan.
