The Frank Slide

Very early on a morning in 1903 the north face of Turtle Mountain in the Crowsnest Pass shifted and 90 million tons of rock slide down the mountain to cover a 3 square km area with rocks that could be as large as a house. The mining town of Frank was in the path of the slide. I have travelled past this area many times and I am still totally awed at not only the size of the boulders but also with the area that they travelled. I would love to be able to take a picture that captured both of these.
