These Blanket Flowers are thriving in the poor soil of Tommy Thompson Park in the Toronto waterfront. Tommy Thompson is a man made spit make mostly of the cast offs from construction projects. It's a treasure for the city with migrating birds and wild plants and animals just minutes from downtown.
