Eyelashes become immediately frosted when it is colder than-23°C. We just had a cold snap, the first of the winter. Nighttime temps have been in the -30 degree range. Because the river is still not all the way frozen, fog has been rising from the remaining open water. Every surface is covered in 3-4 cm of crystallized frost.
