Common Snapping Turtle. I took this photo in June '12 while vacationing in Wilberforce, Ontario. This guy was crossing the hwy. and we had to wait for him to cross the road, before continuing our drive. Evidently, you should never put a turtle back in the same direction he/she came from, because they'll go back out and try to cross again...
