The LNG terminal jetty & storage tanks can be partially silhouetted against the setting sun. It is Canada's first LNG Terminal and capable of receiving the largest LNG tankers in the world. In mid-September of 2013 approximately 7500 songbids were killed at this location when they flew into a gas flare used as a safety release system.
