This was taken on July 19, 2014 by the West Dyke Trial and Sturgeon Banks in Richmond, BC, Canada. Earlier on that day, the skies were dull and mostly clouded, later in the afternoon it was windy and the clouds moved fast and the blue skies started to show. I knew it could be a great opportunity for some beautiful sunset shots so after dinner I drove 40 km to this waterfront. The southern skies were clear and clouds were mostly moved to north and west. At about 8:10 pm I saw this gigantic thick layer of clouds hanging pretty low, right above the wetland, moving like a flying carpet, very impressive.
