Sunset view from Garry Point Park

This was taken right after sunset on July 19, 2014 at Garry Point Park, Richmond, BC. This waterfront park is located at the southwest corner of Richmond, ideal for watching sunset, and popular for kite flying. Earlier on that day, the skies were dull and mostly clouded, later in the afternoon it was windy and the clouds moved fast and the blue skies started to show. I knew it could be a great opportunity for some beautiful sunset shots so after dinner I drove 40 km to this waterfront. By then the southern skies were clear and clouds were mostly moved to north and west, just what I wished for. I had not witnessed this kind of spectacular scene for many years, what a luck.
