I don’t know if this is the fascinating life of Thomas Wilson, one of Canada's more significant inventors; or the eerie feeling the ruins of his long-deserted industrial complex emit; or simply the sound of the rumbling water is what makes me go there again and again, and marvel at the mysteries and turns and twists of the human life and what we leave behind. Hidden in the folds of Gatineau Park, this place is a real gem that keeps me spellbound. I have chosen that old picture style to show you the ruins, as this is exactly how I felt while photographing the place a few days ago.
