I wanted to capture the detail on the usually hidden smaller feather...to my advantage it was a bit windy on the opposite side I froze to capture the perfect one..

  • Shutter speed: 0.00025 sec
  • Aperture: f/ 4.8
  • ISO: 250

thank you for your kind comments...John I use 70-300 vr Nikon lens had the setting A and continues shooting...

BTW -- I have a 3300 and problems with sharpness. What lens are you using here? Did you use shutter priority to force the high speed?

Love this photo. Well done. I wish this site would go with the standard speed announcement. Your camera calls it 1/4000 why do they have to change it - metric law? Seems to me, as a beginner that you hit the perfect combination of A,S,Iso. Congrats.
