    I took this photo while staying by my mother's bedside as she was dying with cancer. I documented a lot during their illnesses, (my father and mother were both diagnosed with stage 4 cancer at the same time). This is how she would sleep as she was afraid to be alone. She would muster up enough strength to pull herself high enough to see that I was still there. Then lower herself and fall back asleep. My parents both passed away in October, 7 & 9th.
