I came upon this black bear in the mountains of Alberta, Canada. Many people decide to get out of their car and rush towards bears trying to get a shot before it runs off. When I find a bear near a roadway, I find that using your car as a blind is actually a much better route as it allows the bear to continue its movement and effects the bear a lot less. I've managed to get a lot of great shots like this one, which I don't think I would have otherwise have obtained with a more abrasive method.

Great shot Jorel! You forgot to mention that staying in a vehicle increases one's chances of staying alive as well.
