Salps Jellyfish is a newcomer to the Antarctic waters. Unfortunately, these creatures are only using all the nutrients in the water, leaving nothing behind for anyone else. Also, these jellyfish provides no nutrients to any living creature in Antarctica either, so this creature is more or less going on a one man show. Photographed on the beach of Whalers Bay, Deception Island.
