    This is the ruins remaining from Pinawa Hydro Dam in Manitoba. It began generating power in 1906 and was closed in 1951to improve flow to Seven Sisters hydro dam. This photo shows that despite the renewable nature of hydro electricity, the methods can scar the natural landscap forever.
