Kemble's Women's Institute created a garden like area over a beautiful lookout. I am only going to quote a little of the description on the plate on the front of the rock table. It states "Kemble's Womens Institute 1897-2007. Oldest Active Womens Institute." It describes the founder of the Institute Clara Gardner and how she created the institute. " To celebrate 110th Anniversary of Kemble;s Women's Institute, the oldest active women's institute in the world, a flowering crab apple tree has been planted in loving memory of our founder, the pioneer members and all members who have passed on. The table is set. Come sit and ponder on our Kemble women past, present and before making a better community for all." A table made of rock, with all settings of metal, including the chair and book.
