Yellow Dressed Afternoon

2 of my favorite things to photograph in the Summer are prairie storms and blooming canola. If I can do both at the same time I am a happy guy, they really contrast each other. The Canola on the Canadian prairies is doing great this year. The blooming canola donates a lot of moisture through evapotranspiration to fuel our storms. I took this shot last week in Alberta.
