This old railroad trestle spans the South Saskatchewan River in South West Saskatchewan where the Red Deer River joins the system - just East of the Alberta border. It is one of my favorite places in the world, I have spent a lot of time fishing and camping around there. The whole area is known locally as "Out West". This trestle was built in 1913, and was decommissioned in 1993. I had never seen it from this angle before, but was impressed how long , and how straight it is.
