I love hiking in Cypress Hills Provincial Park, Saskatchewan in winter. It is nearly always quiet, with the lodgepole pine forests maintaining their own unique sense of peace and serenity. This photo is of Loch Leven, frozen over during the winter months, with hoarfrost clinging to the pine boughs.
