Nathaniel Maki got a big Canada Day surprise while riding the Elbow River Trail network. When the moose saw him, she came running straight towards me. Took me a second to realize she wasn't charging me. I wasn't sure if she was going to go right past me or not, but she stopped and went into the forest at probably 10-15 meters from where I was frozen.
