This was my first attempt at night photography. I was changing my camera settings all night and didn't think I had captured any meteors. When I got home I was surprised and elated to find that I had indeed gotten a meteor! And a colorful fire tail too!

Good shot. This year I was skunked by smoke - then rain. Last year I captured many satellites but only a single short flash of meteor.
