On a 2 day trip exploring Victoria BC, Canada, we visited Canada's Castle, Craigdarrock Castle, which was compled in 1890. The day was overcast and raining off and on, so a good day to be inside. This is the main hall stairwell, and is made of white oak. What a warm welcoming we felt as we entered this magnificent stairwell. I placed my camera on the floor, so I could captured a direct shot up to the ceiling, set it for self timer, so I wouldn't be in the shot.
