The thunder of Takakkaw Falls! The best time to see the falls is late spring \ early summer when the water runoff is fast, loud and large! I was pretty close to the base of the falls and, wow... it was LOUD and wet! Takakkaw Falls plunges from a height of 380m (1246 ft ) and has a 254m ( 833 ft ) freefall. It is Canada's second highest waterfall and leaves you a little humbled!. The falls are fed by the Daly Glacier, which are fed by the waputik icefield. Yoho national park
