The crystal clear "Oligotrophic" Western Brook Pond. Geologists have characterised this lake as Oligotrophic for its low nutrients and electrical conductivity making it difficult for marine life to exist causing the lake to be clean and ultra clear. The lake looked crystal clear with the snow melting away causing multiple waterfalls across the mountains surrounding the lake.
