The "Once in a Hundred Year Flood" is baaaack! … the very next year! After epic floods obliterated the Saint John River Valley in 2018 … floodwaters again rose to similar levels again this year. This composition shows a couple sitting, vaping in front of Renforth Lighthouse in Rothesay, New Brunswick, as the swollen waters of the Kennebecasis reflect a spectacular and seasonal sunset. Normally, a large walking-strolling park is visible directly in front of the lighthouse but lays submerged at the time of the shot due to the freshet - flood stage level.

Submerged park in front of lighthouse, as per how it would normally appear ….
This image (from the waterside pov and looking towards the lighthouse) shows just how devastating the flooding is. The entire park having been swallowed whole!
