Trans Canada Trail, Calgary Alberta. Each and every year, at the first hint of spring, I'm very exited to go and share time with the very same friend. Sounds boring, lame?! No, no...This friend is the most devoted and dependable friend one can know. I hike the foothills when spring is rising, eyes to the beige and gold foothills. Always.Always, the first sign of spring to me is the amazingky hearty yet utterly fragile and beautiful Crocus Flower. Here is the first patch I was lucky enough to discover,..Lumbering out of a long deep frozen Alberta sleep. Nothing shouts my canada like a crocus. I used lens blur, and the Curves rgb adjust, exposure adjust, levels adjust to make this flower look like the Violet princess of all the foothills.
