The warmth of the rising sun meets the frigid air of mount Assiniboine producing a cloud of moisture that makes it look like the mountain is on fire. Mount Assiniboine is one of those places that can only be reached by a gruelling 27Km hike or a helicopter ride which helps keep it in a relatively pristine state due to limited visitors.
