Abraham Lake (AB, Canada) is famous for its frozen methane bubbles that get trapped under the surface ice in the winter. The high winds common at this location help expose the frozen lake surface but also chill you to your bones. I was also there to shoot the bubbles, when I saw this fellow photographer getting ready for his shot as the setting sun was sending rippling reflections through the ice behind her. This was my favourite image during this trip to Abraham Lake.
