The over 100-year old white pine tree, known as the Killbear Pine is perhaps one of the most photographed trees in Canada. Growing from the granite shores with hardly any soil, it stands wind and storms next to Georgian Bay in the Parry Sound District of Ontario. While men come and go, nature remains as a witness to the pass of time and listens. (Smartphone image)
