Last February I went to Prince Albert National Park in the hope of photographing lynx. However, despite finding numerous tracks, the cats remained elusive. But not all was lost. This red fox was looking for food under the snow. Foxes have incredible hearing and can hear rodents moving below the frosty surface. This fox had lost an eye but it did not seem to slow him down.
