Unfortunately during my trip to Saskatchewan in May of 2023 the Alberta wildfires were in full force, causing the skies most nights and days to be a deep grey/dark at night or orange during the day. On this night, I had hoped to set up and shoot a timelapse when I noticed the Northern Lights had been appearing in a small part of the sky. While not very dramatic, this was my first time seeing the Northern Lights and the only time I saw them on this trip.
