A herd of deer munch on some seeds found on the ground. A young fawn stands before the herd, curious about who I am and what I'm doing. The others in the herd were indifferent to my presence, only sneaking an occasional peak to ensure I was keeping my distance. The photo was taken on a December 2024 morning on the edge of the Morris Island Conservation Area in Dunrobin, Ontario, Canada. @danidmedia
