Each year in my home town and surrounding areas we seen an increeasing number of Grizzly bears visiting the island. In 6 years I have found and photographed 14 grizzly bears. This past spring we had a sow and two cubs soon the island. We also had a sow and three cubs of the year not far from my house. Getting images of those bears was very difficult. Mom was very camera shy as were her cubs. That's a good thing. I always like seeing Grizzly Bears, Not a favourite for the locals but I enjoy seeing them. I often wonder if they winter here or migrate back to the mainland ? Time will tell if we see the Sows and cubs this spring in the same areas
